The Vivobarefoot Kolhapuri stands the test of time, letting you move like our ancestors did. The design of the Kolhapuri is based on ancient India sandals, but refined with modern technology. The Kolhapuri are multi-purpose sandals ideal for all those situations where you want to wear a pure minimalist sandal.
The upper part is made of leather. In association with Pittards, one of the oldest leather tanneries in Britain, the Kolhapuri are made from high quality wild cow hide. Cows live wild in Ethiopian grasslands and the skin naturally tastes. The area in contact with the skin, or footbed, is made of leather that offers great sensations and great comfort. Take off the socks and enjoy the best sensations that can be offered.
The Vivobarefoot Kolhapuri sole is made of PRO5 , a thin, durable and resistant layer, 5 times more resistant to punctures than a standard sole of the same thickness; and with a Tough Rubber outsole that is strong, non-marking rubber compound for sticky grip and high-abrasion when you need it most.
The sole has a multi-terrain design, with small hex plugs that provide great grip, allowing the feet to explore any surface, as nature intended. The total thickness of the sole, taking into account the different layers is 5 mm.
To hold the shoe to the foot the Vivobarefoot Kolhapuri uses a nylon strap that closes with a buckle for a quick, simple and comfortable fit. This tape is concealed in the sole and protected in the wear zones. The size is similar to other Vivobarefoot, simply measure the foot and enter the length in centimeters in the Calibrator that you will find next to the size selector. + info about size and fit.
