When the cold weather arrives, you do not need to go back to stiff, narrow shoes.
The Joma Barefoot RT50 Winter keep the freedom you look for in barefoot footwear, but replace the summer mesh with a more closed leather upper.
Wide toe box, Zero Drop, flexibility and an included 5 mm transition insole so you can wear them at your own pace.
Made for walking, the city and those autumn and winter days when you know you will be spending many hours away from home.
The Joma Barefoot RT50 Winter for women bring the RT50 philosophy into the months when an open, highly ventilated shoe is no longer what you want.
They retain the wide fit, Zero Drop, flexibility and freedom of movement that define the model, but replace the breathable mesh upper of the summer version with a more closed leather construction.
The result is a pair of women's leather barefoot shoes for autumn and winter, designed for walking, moving around the city, travelling or spending a full day away from home without going back to stiff, narrow footwear.
They do not turn winter into an excuse to restrict your feet.
They do exactly the opposite.
The difference compared with the lighter RT50 version is immediately visible.
The large areas of open mesh disappear and the upper is now made from leather, creating a more closed shoe with a look that is especially suitable for the cooler months.
This allows the RT50 to retain its urban, sporty character, but with a construction that fits better with autumn and winter.
And most importantly, the change of season does not alter what makes the model interesting.
You still have room at the front.
You still have a flat shoe.
And you still have a sole that moves with your foot instead of forcing it to move like a rigid structure.
A shoe can look great and ruin everything the moment you start walking.
Especially when your toes spend hours squeezed together.
The Joma RT50 Winter retain a wide toe box that gives your toes room to position themselves and move more freely.
The Zero Drop design removes the elevation between the heel and forefoot when you use the flat insole, while the flexible sole allows the shoe to move more naturally with your foot.
It is not simply about having a flexible shoe.
It is about wearing footwear that is not constantly telling your foot how it has to position itself.
Not everyone comes to barefoot footwear from the same starting point.
That is why the Joma Barefoot RT50 Winter also include a transition insole with a 5 mm drop.
If you already wear barefoot footwear regularly, you can choose the flat configuration.
If you are coming from conventional shoes with greater heel elevation, the transition insole allows you to make the change more gradually.
The shoe does not decide when you need to take the next step.
You do.
The RT50 Winter make sense for anyone looking for women's leather barefoot shoes for everyday wear during autumn and winter, while keeping a sporty look that is easy to combine.
They are particularly suitable for walking around the city, travelling, going to work or simply for those days when you know you will spend many hours on the move.
The sole combines phylon and flexible rubber, with a multidirectional tread designed to provide grip without turning the shoe into a rigid structure.
They are not designed as dedicated running shoes or technical mountain footwear.
Their place is elsewhere: everyday wear, walking and moving naturally, now with a more closed leather upper than the summer RT50.

Materials: as the upper is made from leather, avoid soaking it during cleaning. Remove surface dirt and use products suitable for this material. Do not use a washing machine or tumble dryer, and leave the shoes to air dry away from direct heat sources.
Remove the insole to help them dry more quickly and improve ventilation inside the shoe.
