Soccer cleats have pointed ends. Your child's foot doesn't.

Posted on3 Months ago by 1983

From what’s happening inside.

You’ll see.

Your child doesn’t say: “Dad, I feel like they’re blocking the natural expansion of my metatarsals.”

No.

He says: “they’re tight”.
And that’s where it ends.
Because he doesn’t say the rest.

Do a simple test.

Take the insole out of his boots.

Place his foot on top.

If the foot sticks out at the sides or at the front, you already know why he walks funny.

You already know why his toenail turns black.

You already know where the blisters and chafing come from.

You don’t need to be a podiatrist.
You just need to look.

Then there’s the stiffness.

Try to bend the boot with your hands.

If it’s hard for you, imagine slamming on the brakes wearing that.
Imagine him turning.
Imagine him sprinting.

And here comes the important part.

If a foot can’t open inside the boot, it doesn’t stabilize the same way.
If it can’t feel the ground, it reacts worse.
And if the big toe is twisted, it loses power and control.

That toe is the brake when he stops suddenly.
And it’s the accelerator when he takes off.
It’s the last push before jumping.
The final strike when running.

And when the brake and the accelerator fail, the body compensates.
And when the body compensates, something gets overloaded.

And all this happens because the shop-window boots,
the ones you see on TikTok,
the ones the stars wear…
are shaped like boots.
Not like feet.

For years, that was all there was.
Narrow, stiff, pointed boots.

It was that or nothing.

Now there are alternatives.

For artificial turf you have the Joma Gol Junior Barefoot.

For futsal or indoor courts, the Joma Top Flex Kids.

They don’t promise superpowers.
They promise something much simpler.

That their feet can do their job.

Football is passion.
But it doesn’t have to hurt.

Let them grow playing.
With strong feet, free toes and without having to ask permission
inside the boot.

Ahora sólo falta que saquen zapatillas de clavos para atletismo (igual ya existen y no lo sabemos). Para niños cuesta de encontrar normales y algunas ya no es que tengan punta estrecha, sino que todas ellas son estrechas.
