If you need a backup plan in your bag, your shoe has let you down

Last year my wife walked behind a procession.
After thirty minutes, the woman walking next to her stopped, opened her bag, took out some slippers and took off her shoes.
Shoes with a small heel and a narrow toe box.
The typical shoe for Easter.
The typical shoe that always ends the same way after the procession.
Blisters.
Cramped toes.
And the urge to get home and take your shoes off.
I ask.
If an elegant shoe only lasts half an hour on your feet.
Is it a shoe or a costume?
And it happens all the time.
Weddings.
Fairs.
Processions.
Events.
Shoes that last as long as a coffee.
After that…
Slippers.
The problem with those shoes is twofold.
On one hand, the heel. It shifts your body weight onto your toes.
And on the other, the toe box that does not respect the natural shape of your foot.
It squeezes your toes.
Blocks movement.
And makes your foot fatigue much sooner.
Funnel-shaped shoes.
That’s why more and more women are looking for something different.
An elegant loafer.
Foot-shaped.
With real space for your toes.
Without a heel.
And that lasts the entire procession.
