Today I’m putting two heavyweight summer sandals head to head: the Vivobarefoot Tracker Ora and the Lems Switchback.

The Lems Switchback clearly leans into a roomy feel. The shape is flat, wide and gives you that sense that the foot can spread naturally without fighting the sandal.
The Vivobarefoot Tracker Ora also gives your toes room, but it doesn’t feel quite as radically open. In return, it offers more control and a raised sole edge that protects the toes better once the ground gets rougher.
