Vibram Furoshiki, receives in 2018 the most prestigious design award

Compasso d'Oro ADI (Italian Design Association) has awarded Vibram the most desired prize in the world of design for the minimalist footwear Vibram Furoshiki.

The winning concept is to develop an innovative Vibram sole that continues on the instep and wraps the foot of any morphology and in any condition, guaranteeing a personalized fit and exceptional comfort. Inspired by the Japanese art of furoshiki, which allows any type of object to be wrapped in a single fabric, Vibram Furoshiki footwear uses a Vibram XS City rubber sole, which guarantees durability and grip on urban surfaces. The fabric selected by Vibram for the instep is Sensitive Fabrics di Eurojersey.

The footwear type 'barefoot' Vibram Furoshiki had already won several Italian and international awards for its originality and innovation of the project. This recognition will continue with the wake of awards, consolidating the Vibram Furoshiki with revolutionary shoes.
